I live in Riddells Creek in the beautiful Macedon Ranges in Victoria.

I continue to teach a few pupils. I am semi-retired being in my early eighties.  My love of helping people re-discover what is causing their discomfort remains.  Through lessons pupils become aware of harmful muscle habits and use their minds to find a better way of being.

My love of horses and riding is my passion.  Over many years of observing horses and through riding, I have learnt so much about how they and we move.  Although horses walk on four legs we have a similar structure of muscles, bones and nervous systems.  Horses are very aware of what we are doing and how we sit etc.  They pick up on sour stress levels, our tensions or our calmness.  F. M. Alexander, originator of the Alexander Technique, had a great knowledge of horses and spent time watching them when he was growing up.  His passion remained throughout his life.

I am fortunate to still be able to ride at a reasonable level of dressage.  My practice and understanding of the Alexander Technique has developed over more than 40 years contributing to my wellbeing, upright posture and mobility in spite of my age.
