The Celebration 0f the anniversary of FM Alexander’s 150^th Birthday

Event:                 Celebrating the 150^th anniversary of the birth of Frederick Matthias Alexander, founder of the Alexander Technique

General public are invited to join us to celebrate Alexander’s Birthday. A chance for us to demonstrate and talk about the technique at The Wonders of Wynyard (WOW).  This local exhibition space will also have stalls.  Photo of the paper exhibition of Alexander on display at the Wonders of Wynyard.

Saturday January 19^th and Sunday January 20^th 2019 in Wynyard Tasmania, where Alexander was born.

This is a sharing weekend for Alexander Teachers to come together and swap work, run workshops for each other, have discussions and celebrate the anniversary of the 150^th Birthday of FM Alexander.

Accommodation :

The 3 rooms at the Alexandria are full. You are responsible for booking your own accommodation.

This lovely motel is situated on the waterfront and they have created a special deal for us. Prices below. They have rooms on hold till the end of September.

This not include breakfast. Group rate of $10 PP for breakfast.

Wynyard is very short drive from Burnie airport. Transport from the airport can be arranged. Wynyard also has a caravan park.

This weekend will be more exciting if those of you coming offer to run a workshop. Please list any ideas you have on the registration form.

Cost of the weekend:  $150.00. This includes venue hire, Saturday morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Sunday morning tea and lunch, and contribution to the big Birthday cake for the public Birthday Afternoon Tea.
