Hosted by KiM Sargent-Wishart:
ONLINE VIA ZOOM
In this experiential session, Kim Sargent-Wishart will give an introduction to the somatic approach of Body-Mind Centering®, founded by Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, and lead participants through a practical exploration of some early developmental movement patterns. We’ll focus on the patterns of cellular breathing, sponging and navel radiation as a way of exploring body wholeness into the beginnings of directional pathways of flow through the spine and limbs. Some key themes will be: experiencing the fluid foundations of movement, cellular communication, and relationships between centre and periphery. Participants will be invited to move, and can adapt the movement to their own needs and available space. There will be time for reflection and discussion to round out the session.
