Meredith Connie

For Meredith, the Alexander Technique is a life affirming practice that can change lives, because it is fundamentally about our own power to change ourselves; to learn how to co-operate with the design of our bodies.  As an Alexander teacher Meredith works a lot with musicians, because her initial entry point into the technique was through her experiences as a Classical guitarist.  Her practice encompasses performers and musicians but also those seeking to improve their quality of life through conscious awareness of how we use our bodies in our everyday tasks.   From an initial starting point of embracing Alexander technique as a way to increase longevity and decrease pain in her playing, Meredith now embraces the technique as fundamental to her health and happiness.
